At Merlin's Vision, our mission is to create a piece of art that is made especially for you, and we mean that literally. Whether it is a piece of wearable art jewellery or a sculpture, we go to great lengths to ensure that your artwork is uniquely yours. While from time to time, we may create a piece that you can purchase pre-made, and that piece may speak to you personally, we encourage new clients to experience the feeling of having a piece of art that exudes their own self, and was made with only them in mind.
The Exciting Process
So, how do we create something that is uniquely for you? First, you would meet with our design consultant, Robbin Penner. If you are not local to Vancouver, a design consultation could take place in which ever way is convenient to you. Robbin not only has decades of experience in the designer fashion industry; she has an incredible wealth of knowledge about jewellery, and a serious knack for recognizing the certain something that defines a person's individual style. You will discuss with Robbin what kind of design you are looking for and between the two of you, your art piece will be given direction.
The Journey Begins
Raymond Penner, the artist, will begin the concept for your design. Raymond will take time and care to consider your personal style and personality, and will put together a pre-emptive sketch to translate your design into an image. Your design will be submitted to you for further discussion, and to iron out any fine points you may wish to adjust.
The Artist Creates
Once your design has been approved and is ready to be created, that is just exactly what happens; Raymond goes to work to bring your absolutely customized and personally created piece of art to life
The Result
While every single piece of art created by Merlin's Vision and artist Raymond Penner is a completely different journey, the end points always have one commonality: Amazement. No first-time client is ever prepared for the beauty and magic that comes from a piece of art made just for them. Nobody is ever prepared for the attention they get, the compliments, the conversations, or the curiosity. While it is Raymond Penner who transforms the art, it is often the art that transforms the client. It can be a wonderfully overwhelming feeling to have such a beautiful experience, and everybody deserves to have that feeling.
